Alaska Intelligence, LLC operates this website (alaska-intelligence.com) and the civic-data tools at codyrice.us. We are a Girdwood, Alaska company. We built this site to make Alaska public records more accessible, and we treat your privacy the same way we treat the records: openly and without surveillance.
You can browse, search, and use the AI assistant without logging in or providing any personal information. We collect anonymous, aggregate usage analytics only — for example, which pages and tools are used and how often — to improve the service. This analytics data is not tied to your identity, and we do not store personal identifiers, email addresses, or full IP addresses for tracking purposes.
If you save a passage, search, or meeting, that preference is stored locally in your own browser (local storage). It stays on your device and is not personal information we hold about you.
The site is delivered through standard web infrastructure (Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare), which may process basic request metadata to serve and secure the site. We do not use advertising trackers. Some tools link out to third-party sources (e.g., akleg.gov, Google NotebookLM); their privacy practices govern those sites.
Questions you type into the AI assistant are sent to our servers and processed by AI tools (large language models, via Amazon Bedrock) to generate an answer from the public transcript and minutes corpus. Do not enter sensitive personal information into the assistant.
This is a general-audience civic-information service and is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy as the service evolves; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
